Schenectady, New York, United States of America — Caterina (Audi) Tebano, 87, died Friday, April 25, 2008 at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home in Albany, New York.

   She was born in June 28, 1920, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Antonia (Fiorillo) Audi, in Squille, Caserta, Italy and came to Schenectady, New York in 1955.

   Caterina was a seamstress for several years, but was primarily a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Schenectady, New York, a devoted Catholic. She was also a member of the Mount Carmel Women’s Society.

   Caterina was a woman of character and honor. She put her heart, soul and strength in everything she did. Caterina’s family was the most important thing in her life. She loved spending time with her children and their families. She thought of her children before she thought of herself. Caterina loved working in her vegetable garden. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially itaralli. Caterina loved riding her three wheeled bike all around. She enjoyed going to the supermarket and delivering watermelons to each of her children. She also loved crocheting, going to the spa and playing with Franco and Giacomo (the dogs).

   She was predeceased by her husband, Vincenzo Tebano; son , Domenico Tebano; son–in–law, Antonio Ciampi; daughter–in–law, Rosa (Patierno) Tebano; and granddaughter, Maria Sgueglia.

   Survivors include her beloved children, Antonietta Ciampi, Antonio Tebano, Selvina and her husband, Raffaele Marotta, Carmine and his wife, Angela Tebano and Giuseppina Tebano; sister, Immacolata Audi; daughter–in–law, Cattolica Tebano; 15 grandchildren; 24 great–grandchildren; and two great–great–grandchildren.

   The family wishes to thank Nadine, her staff and the residents (Blue Unit of the Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home) and the Hospice Staff of Albany, NY.

   Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Monday, April 28th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Services will begin Tuesday, April 29th, at 8:15 a.m. from DeLegge Funeral Home, 1346 Chrisler Avenue, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Schenectady, NY. Entombment will be in St. Anthony Mausoleum, Genville, NY.

   The family suggests memorial donations to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12065.

Schenectady, New York, United States of America — Eugenio Campagnano, 74, of Bailey Street passed away at Ellis Hospital on Monday, April 21, 2008, surrounded by his loving family.

   Born in the village of Squille, Caserta, Italy, he was a son of the late Lorenzo and Maria Domenica (Visco) Campagnano. He was educated in Italy.

   Eugenio and his beloved wife of 54 years, Maria Mone Campagnano, came to the United States in 1976, along with his son, Luigi.

   He was employed as a baker for Mont Pleasant Bakery until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Eugenio was a devoted family man and greatly enjoyed his pets, especially his dog, Pasquale. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Schenectady, NY.

   Besides his beloved wife, Maria, Eugenio is survived by four children, Maria Palma (Domenico) Tebano of Rotterdam, NY, Immacolata Campagnano of Italy, Pia Campagnano of Italy and Luigi Campagnano of Schenectady, NY.

   He leaves behind ten grandchildren, Attilio (Cheryl), Annalisa (Robert), Dino (Makayla) and Anthony, all of Schenectady, NY, Stefano, Anna Maria, Monica, Matilda, Tiziana and Maria Pia, all of Italy; and eight great–grandchildren, Tiana, Domenic, Andrew, Aiden and Benjamin, all of Schenectady, NY and Angelo, Denise and Christian, all of Italy.

   He is also survived by three sisters, Raffaele, Marietta and Rosalia Campagnano of Squille, Caserta, Italy.
Eugenio was predeceased by his grandson, Giuseppe and also three siblings, Giuseppe, Antonietta and Carmelina.

   Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco Stone Funeral Home Inc., 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, NY on Friday, April 25, 2008, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Immediately following, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pleasant Street, Schenectady, NY.

  Interment will be in Italy at a later date.

  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220–3049.

Alvignanello, Caserta, Italy — Maria (D’Angelo) Conte, 81, formerly of Schenectady, New York, made her final journey into the hands of the Lord on Monday, April 2, 2008 in Zurich, Switzerland.

   Maria was born on May 29, 1926 in Alvignanello, Caserta, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Rosalina D’Angelo. Maria resided in Italy and enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. 

   She is survived by her daughters, Maria (Pierino) Lavorgna of Zurich, Switzerland and Rosa (Domenico) Cerbo of Rockledge, Florida. Maria was the proud grandmother of her four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

   She will be dearly missed by her brothers and sisters that survive her, Gino (Filomena) D’Angelo of Rotterdam, NY, her beloved twin Andrea, Pasquale and Luigi D’Angelo all of Italy and her beloved sisters, Ernestina Ragosta, Rosa Ferrara and Angelina Rivetti all of Italy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.

   Maria was predeceased by her husband, Giacinto Conte; and her brother, Michele D’Angelo.

   A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. at our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pleasant St., Schenectady, NY. Burial was held in Ruviano, Caserta, Italy.
